Customer service is absolutely no help…

Customer service is absolutely no help at all. I have been trying to reduce my seats for weeks, and each time I receive an error. I put in a ticket a couple of weeks ago, and noone has answered yet. Today was my renewal date, and rather than be charged 17k for more seats that I need, I turned off the auto renew. I still need 4 seats, so I put in another ticket to try to get this fixed. I had a chat open, and the rep asked for a screenshot. The screenshot would not go through so I sent it in email. After 30 mins the guy tells me to call sales and gives me a number. I called the number- that guy said he couldnt help me, and transfered me. After 18 minutes on hold, I reached a rep who told me I couldnt reduce the seats because my subscription had expired.....I said, it expires TODAY which is why I am taking the time to try to get this fixed- I have been trying for weeks. He tells me " oh, well, we are working on your ticket, we will keep you updated"- ABSOLUTLEY NO HELP... My subscription expires today, so I either have to turn on auto renew and pay 10k more than I need, or, I lose my discount and have to start all over tomorrow with setting up my employees autocad accounts. RIDICULOUS!!!

Latest versions more broken than the old ones

I've been using Autodesk products around twenty years now starting in 3DS Max then going over to Maya when I went to school and slowly gone 100% into Motionbuilder for the past fifteen years in my professional career as an animator.

I can only speak for Motionbuilder since that's where all of my time lies and every new release barely has any new major feature but is always broken in one way or another. They rarely make patches, occasionally there is a tiny update that does nothing to fix whatever issue they caused to begin with so it doesn't really help. I almost feel as if they are killing off Motionbuilder which would be sad as it's the only decent program out there for motion capture editing with takes/easy pose matching for humanoids.

Considering the Autodesk suit cost 3200€ in Sweden (or 2800€ for Motionbuilder only) you'd expect the programs to get better, not worse. At work I use a five year old version but that's been removed from their website now so we'll see how long I can keep using that.

I really, really, really hope they step up their game with the next releases for Motionbuilder and doesn't kill it off cause it is really good in the core.

Used this software for the last 20…

Used this software for the last 20 years, but it has steadily been going downhill in the last 2 years. Will be requesting a refund and look at other options.

Crashes daily, online documentation doesn't fix issues, customer service takes weeks to respond and only interested in closing tickets not fixing issues.

Gone completely downhill

Gone completely downhill. Scam company that will send you spam marketing emails to you despite never signing on with them. To top it off there is NO way to unsubscribe from their marketing crap. Stay far away from these scammers unless you plan to take legal action like I am

Good products, but the Customer service department is abyssmal. Hardly any englishcomprehension. I have spent a week and over 20 emails, calls and chats to get my issue resolved to no avail.

Emailed consistently about wanting to…

Emailed consistently about wanting to open a business account to sign up a few users. Took me ages to get them to respond with a sales agent. Then I asked a simple question about opening a business account and the sales person has been ghosting me for weeks. I guess AutoDesk doesn't operate as a business and want to make money then? Unprofessional.

I wouldn't use them on principle.

I wouldn't use them on principle.

I'm in the UK and they want me to pay a ridiculous premium for it over (from what I can see) every other country on the planet.

I'll never use them even if they sort that out of principle, and my opinion is you should not either.

What terrible unjustifiable business practise, that simply leaves you looking like crooks (also my opinion).

I bought a subscription for PM & D…

I bought a subscription for PM & D Collection for $3000 and never got it to work. Inventor got stuck in trial mode. Hed to uninstall and reinstall several times and still got stuck in trial mode. No support, put in support ticket got no answer except that it'll take two days for an answer, but actually never got an answer. I tried to get someone on the phone, but nobody ever called back or answered the phone. I lost a lot of time to trying to solve the issue and lost my work which I've done during trial period.
